The album title comes from and old American saying which refers to a married person stepping out of their marriage and cheating on their partner. Taking the old dirst road trvelling two towns over.The songs track the path of a young wife and mother, who married young, has children and now feels neglected. She feels she has missed out on what life has to offer. Her husband is a simple hard working family man. She cheats, he finds out and their marriage is destroyed.
